NOTICE TO ALL CUSTOMERS: In the Philippines, the supplier cost of roses DOUBLES for Valentine's Day. In previous years, we tried to keep operating on Valentine's Day without raising our website prices for roses to make it affordable for customers, but we were barely able to break even.
This year, we were faced with the decision to either stop operating on Valentine's Day, or raise our prices, because the current dollar-to-peso exchange rate will force us to operate at a loss. We have considered implementing an increase in the delivery charges instead of increasing prices for all rose products, but that would affect all products on the site, which would be unfair for customers who are purchasing products that do not include roses. To give customers the fairest deal, we have decided instead on a temporary increase in rose prices. All prices for roses go back to normal after the Valentine's season. Thank you for understanding. ALL ORDERS FOR GUARANTEED VALENTINE'S DAY DELIVERY HAVE TO BE MADE BY FEBRUARY 12. For all orders that come in after February 12, we will try to deliver on Valentine's Day, but cannot guarantee due to the limited availability of flowers. |
